Why this works:
Your experience is unique: guided snowshoe + forest bathing + winter foraging + hot wild tea — this adds value beyond a standard snowshoe walk.

Step into the quiet magic of winter and join us for a guided snowshoe journey through our private red pine forest, nestled along a spring-fed lake. Breathe in the crisp, clean air as you move slowly through the landscape, allowing the pace of nature to guide you. This experience is intentionally designed to help you slow down, reconnect, and let your nervous system truly exhale.

As we snowshoe beneath towering red pines, you’ll be gently guided in the practice of forest bathing (shinrin-yoku)—the simple yet powerful act of being fully present among the trees. Through this mindful immersion, you’ll experience the calming benefits of the forest, including reduced stress, mental clarity, and a deep sense of ease that often lingers long after the walk ends.

Along the way, you’ll learn about the medicinal and wellness properties of pine trees and other winter evergreens, including cedar. We’ll lightly forage as we walk, sharing traditional uses of these plants for nourishment and wellness—even in the heart of winter.

To warm both body and spirit, we’ll pause in the forest to enjoy one of the following, prepared fresh on site:

  • Hot wild-foraged tea made from pine needles, cedar, or other seasonal evergreens

    or

  • Hot cacao or tea, savoured quietly among the trees
